November, 2026 Redeemer News

Rooted in Christ
Colossians 2:6-7

November is Harvest Time. The seeds that were planted in the Spring are now bearing fruit. Our mission at Redeemer is to plant seeds of God’s love, watered with the teachings of Jesus. We pray these seeds will grow strong roots of faith, and this faith will show in how the children treat others with kindness and love.

God Made Me from A-Z By Allison Kay Bemiss

F: I am Faithful

“We live by what we believe, not by what we can see.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7

Family Activity: Hiding Heart

Use a white crayon to draw heart(s) on white paper. Paint the paper with watercolors and watch the heart appear. A reminder that God is always near.

Dear God, thank you for always being with me. Amen.

G: I am Grateful

“Let everything that breathes praise the Lord.” – Psalm 150:6

Family Activity: Praying Hand

Trace your hand on colorful paper. Draw and decorate a happy face on it. Place on your fridge. Each morning say thank you for something good in your life.

Dear God, I am grateful for all the ways You show your love to me. Amen.

H: I am Hopeful

“I have good plans for you . . . to give you hope and a good future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Family Activity: Fruit Rainbow

As a family, wash and cut fruit in a variety of colors. Layer the fruit in a cup. Top with whipped cream or yogurt. Enjoy!

Dear God, Help me have hope on happy and hard days. Amen.

School Closings/Delays

Winter weather is just around the corner. In the event of a delay or closing, families will be notified via the Procare app. Delays and closings can be found on ABC6, 10WBNS and NBC4.

In general, Redeemer follows Lancaster City School for delays and closings. Please follow the schedule below for delays. Childcare remains open unless it is a level 3 snow emergency.

If at any time you feel your roads are unsafe to travel, stay home and enjoy some bonus time with your child. Please call the office or message Procare that you are taking a “Snow Day.”
